Jammies trip to the vet

As many of you know, my Jammies has 4 things wrong with her heart and isn't expected to live a very long life. The worse thing wrong is that she has a hole in her heart. She can not even be spayed because she would not survive the surgery.

Yesterday, we took her to our regular vet because our sheltie, Shannon was getting her rabies shot. I am happy to say that Jammies' heart is no worse and that her lungs are clear!!!! She weighs 7.5 lbs! The bad news is, she is turning into a teenager REAL soon and all the boy dogs in the neighborhood will be knocking on our door, probably within a week or so. We have a fenced in yard, but we still stay out there with her! Jammies is not going to be happy in her diapers and if she tries to chew out of those, we have onesies to put on her! We're ready...I think! Somehow she figures a way to outsmart us!
Maybe that explains the PMS and how much more she is picking on Shannon. She is still my baby and always will be. Whoever is praying for her, please keep praying! I believe in miracles and I believe my Jammies is going to be one!

That's great news, and I'm so happy for you and for Jammies! Teenager, huh? Let me know when she asks for the keys to the car!

Jammies is a sweet little girl. I sure hope Ray has the shotgun ready to scare off those boys when they come knocking!

That is good news Debbie. And don't be surprised if you hear all the dogs in the county.

Gee, thanks Dave. I have signs out that say, "NO MALE DOGS ALLOWED" kinda like the deer X'ing signs...I bet these dogs won't read either!
