Bass Ackwards

The nice thing about a dog is that when you screw up with them ,they don't laugh at you. But I had to laugh at myself a minute ago. I was playing with Molly and I was chasing her around the house as usual. She ran downstairs where it was somewhat dark. She plopped herself down and started chewing on the owl that we were chasing. Huffin and puffin ,I plopped down what I thought was in front of her. After 20 seconds of telling her how smart she was to catch that owl.etc. I realized that I was talking to her ass end. LOL .Needless to say I had to laugh at myself when she raised her head on the other end and looked at me like I was nuts. Thats one thing with a Hav, they are so hairy that they can fool you sometimes. Dogs , gotta love em.

LOL. I've done that with Izzy too. Sometimes it's hard to figure out which end is which.

I do that often with Tucker, too, when he's laying on the couch behind my head, or as we are waking up in the morning snuggled up in bed.

One of the things that helped me decide to get a Havanese puppy was seeing my dog's dad do the 'bum up, bum down' trick. His little head was on the ground and all you could see was a blob going up and down. No way to tell which end was doing the up/downs. It was hilarious. Now, if I could just get my Tucker to do that one!!! We're working on it, I can tell you!!!!

Oh my goodness you had me laughing so hard that Murphy had to jump up on my lap to make sure I was ok. I truly can't imagine not having a Hav in my life. I love everything about them.

We call Scooter "Scooter Mutt" all the time. I can tell when someone talks to the wrong end because I'll hear "Scooter Butt" instead! LOL

At night I’ve hugged Smarty’s Ass as many times as her head when she snuggles up. I’m very glad she is not a pooter.
