Soft Frisbee Discs for Dogs

Our shelties have always loved to play frisbee and were pretty good at catching them. We found, however, that when they caught them, it would cause their mouths to bleed. One year while vacationing in Santa Barbara (ahhh....my favorite place), we found a very soft frisbee. We brought it home and our sheltie loved it! The next time we went back we bought a couple more. It is Jammies favorite toy! Sometimes our sheltie plays with her and it is so cute. Jammies never catches it, but she comes prancing back with it like she won the biggest prize. Since I haven't been to Santa Barbara for awhile, I found the frisbee on line at Amazon.com. I know that Holly found it somewhere else, possibly a little cheaper. I will ask her to post that website, if anyone is interested. Here is the link to the Amazon frisbee.

I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this. Also, for those of you that take your dogs to the beach, the frisbee floats,
Oh, Jammies was just outside playing frisbee and I told her to go pee pee, she did, but she wouldn't drop that frisbee to do it!

Too bad you didn't have your camera, that would have been a funny picture!

Hey GF, Murphy wants me to thank his Aunt Debbie for suggesting a new toy. He likes to chew it as much as chase it!

I will get a picture of the two of them playing with it and of Jammies prancing with it in her mouth!

And, you are welcome for the link. If anyone buys one, please let us know if your dog likes it!

I do have a question. I feel like my dogs will also probably chew it as much as chase it. How durable is it?

I think they are very durable. The one that Shannon and Jammies have now tugged apart is about 3 years old or more. I just took the 2nd one out today that we bought. That's not saying your kids won't destroy them!

Thank you for your helpful response. My two are not hard on toys so think I will give it a try.
