I must be an idiot following Karenís post with all her talented doggies, but here goes. I have two boys, Oliver, a black and white parti who is 5 years old. He measures 11.5 inches and weighs in at a whopping 18 lbs. He is our old soul with very expressive eyes and a tail that never stops. He likes to talk and we call him Tim the Toolman because of his grunts. He is a sweet gentle boy and is very polite. He did agility for a while, but never really enjoyed it. His health so far has been very good with no issues. Quincy is the baby and turned 1 in January. He is a tricolour and measures 11 inches and weighs 15 lbs. He is our firecracker/energizer bunny and can wear you out. He loves life and every day is just another day to have a good time. He hasnít met anyone or anything he doesnít like. He loves to watch TV and recognizes all the animal commercials just by hearing the music. No matter where he is in the house if music starts for a commercial with animals he comes roaring into the TV room and dances on his hind legs in front of the TV. He started out with a lot of tummy issues and diarrhea issues, but probiotics, diet and meds fixed him up and he has had no more issues with that. He also had a growth plate that closed early on one of his front legs. We thought we might have to put him through surgery, but it happened late in his growth so we decided to try supplements for joint care that helps build cartilage, strengthen muscle and promote bone health. It has been amazing stuff and he is doing great. He will take it forever. No agility for him, just not worth risking it. Both boys are complete opposites and they love each other dearly. Great playmates and they have been a joy for us.

Loki turned 3 in April. He weighs 14.5 lbs. We had a bit of a rough start. Loki had parvo at 11 weeks - he had been with us a week. He spent 4 days in intensive care isolation. Thanks to great vet care he came made it through. Then, he has a severe overbite (parrot mouth) so he had to have all the little puppy teeth removed because they were irritating his palate. Then, he had to have adult canines cut down. All this in his first six months! Through it all he is the sweetest little dog. He is the definition of lap dog. If I am sitting down he is in my lap or if my lap isnít available he will get in anyoneís who will have him. He loves to give kisses. He loves to go anywhere with us. Somehow, he managed to pass CGC. We havenít moved on to rally or agility but we do take some workshops to learn tricks (which he doesnít really like) or to brush up on manners.

Pictures
1. In the hospital with parvo. 4 lbs. DH was holding him. We had to gown up to see him.
2. After having teeth removed. A little thing like a cone didnít bother him.
3. ďCan I get closer to mamaĒ - I was laying on the couch reading. He was on my shoulder sound asleep.
4. All grown up.
5. Shopping For plants.

New puppy is coming home August 25th. It will be interesting to see how he adjusts.

Wow that's so awesome to see a bunch of Havanese lovers coming together! Does anyone live around Denver CO? I wanna socialize my Sasha but haven't met anyone with a puppy that has as much energy as Sasha does.

Karen - Wow! I knew Kodi was quite a dog when you would show him. However, I guess I didn't realize what a show dog he really is! Holy cow what a lot of ribbons! I'm impressed!
