Thumbs up Do You Have a Quilt Idea?

We are currently discussing quilt ideas for the next quilt.
We would love any ideas you have....

A bit of background info:
Quilt 1 had no theme
Quilt 2 and 3 had a Four Season theme
Quilt 3 Hats off to Havanese (current one we are making)

In the past-we have thought of many ideas, but you can never have too many!

If you have an idea can you post it and explain it?

For example--Hobby Havanese --havanese doing human hobbies, such as sewing, playing soccer, knitting, photography etc.

Please don't comment on whether or not you like a theme, but rather just post a theme idea....we will vote later and this will make it easier to keep track.

Thank you!

OK, this may be corny and may have even been suggested before, but here goes:
HAVS IN THE CIRCUS

Since I occasionally read that some think they may have been used as circus dogs because of their great ability to do tricks and entertain, I was thinking:

Hav standing on their back legs walking through a hoop
Hav walking a balance beam or tight rope (agility)
Hav with a clown hat making people laugh
Hav sitting in between children (maybe one in a wheelchair like therapy work)
Hav herding ducks or riding an elephant
Hav sitting on top of the lion cage
Hav licking an ice cream cone or eating cotton candy
Hav playing with a monkey

Now if only my sewing skills were as good as my imagination!

Favorite pose of the quilter's Havanese (or someone else's) on a floral background.

My Favorite Photograph of my Hav's likness quilted of course.

Everyone has a favorite photograph of their Havanese, just draw it off and quilt the likeness onto the square.

Everyone's ideas are really great!
I know many people on the forum have a havanese (or two or three) and another pet-(different breed of dog, cat, bird). What about a square with the havanese interacting with the other pet and call it "You Hav a friend in me". Sorry if it sounds silly-I couldn't help myself. I just know how much Pixie loves my mom's tzu, and she loves cats also. I think most havanese just want to be friends with everyone and everything.

Sort of on the same vein of travelling havs, how about your hav(s) with some landmark or recognizable item from the state/area in which your havs live.

This is kinda on the same order/idea as Marj's...

a "Love and Care" Quilt:

All the things it takes to love and care for a havanese-
Grooming,brushes,shampoos,toys,vet visits,socializing/play dates,a good camera (oh yeah--I'm bad!

Just things all that have to do with loving/caring and taking good care of a havanese

Not trying to bore you to tears....but also--in the past we have discussed a color theme. This is quite simple in concept....but basically you could make any hav you wanted in any setting but have a color requirement.

Such as a red/white or a pink/purple or whatever.....

I have no idea what theme we may come up with or what will be decided...but chances are,we will have a couple requirements along these lines anyway. I am finding that a quilt with requests such as the FR quilt with biege/tan colored backgrounds and the red requirement has made it so much easier and co-hesive looking......that I may like to continue that "idea" in the future as long as it doesn't seem too restrictive.I'd like to speak with the quilters on this issue after a theme has been decided. See how easy it is to get off track?........and yet......it's all related!

Havanese poses...

Sitting, walking on hind legs, lying down with legs like a frogs, curled up, dog pose, lying down with head on paws, lying with legs up in the air, two dogs curled up together, puppies nursing, stretching, paws up on chair, run like heck (how do you capture all feet in the air), and so on...

I didn't just get havanese, I got a lifestyle!
