Ok I am thinking about trying this. I do not know how to do this. What would be the best way to learn. I would really like to try though.

Great Linda and Alana! I'll add you to my list.

Sage green is a light green...but not mint....all the fabric stores will be happy to show you a sage color. It doesn't have to be an exact sage Linda.....if it went into a light avocado or light olive that would be fine too. I'm just trying to avoid a baby mint green or grass green going darker in forest green.

I'll see if I can come up with a picture of some fabrics for you,ok?

One of the things I'd suggest Megan is to click on that link on post 1 for a fusible tutorial. It is a great example of what we do. Also--maybe check out a quilt book from your local library. They will have probably quite a few different ones....look at one more for basics of quilting. Almost all have a beginner's guide that will help you.

Good grief, the first year I think there were more of us who had no idea what we were doing than those who did. Quite honestly I'm still a novice in this arena, but it's a lot of fun to learn and can be such a fun creative process.

Megan-that would be awesome to have you join us this year!
I am headed to bed (long night at work) but will get back to you tomorrow.

Anyone else interested in making a quilt block?
