Sweet Dreams - Havs in their favorite sleeping places or positions.....
This is a great idea for sometime down the road. This year HRI made 2 quilts with the "forever home" theme.

Julie - if you want to go with the traveling theme, just make one of the 'rules' - no lettering. Does it really matter if people aren't immediately struck by where the Hav might be traveling?, although the block makers could attempt to make it so that it was recognizable? The information you gather - name of quilt block, etc - can give that information as I believe you said it accompanies the photo of the quilt for advertising purposes. The transportation them with different modes of transportation is also a cute idea, as well as the 'tongue'.

When I submitted my ideas, I was not aware of what had been done in the past or by Hav. Rescue.

I am fine with whatever you choose. Since you have put many of these together, you probably have the best idea of what 'works'.

I'm not so sure about that Linda-- But thanks for the compliment anyways.

I love the idea of including a house like you suggested...I am going to write that one down for the future. HRI also had did a Four Seasons quilt way before we ever did...but enough time had passed that it didn't matter. This will probably also be the case with the Home idea...we just need to let some time go by.

Some of the ideas I absolutely love, but when I think of potential problems or things that could come up or be confusing..I shy away from those. I am hoping to get something new suggested that might trigger a "HECK YES!".......

Just a little more 'brainstorming' here - Nope, haven't been drinking or smoking anything! Ha! But it may trigger some thoughts?

Hav to the Rescue - Hav's helping with chores- Recycling (shredding paper), Laundry, Bringing paper, slippers, etc, Slug patrol......

Hav's Have Talent - Hav's with instruments, doing tricks, stunts, sports, etc.

Hav's and Friends - Hav's with other pets

In all Kinds of Weather - Our favorite fur kid out in the snow, rain, sun.....?

I love your rescue idea.....
Your talent idea reminds me of the one I thought would be so much fun...havs doing human things....like gardening, sports, playing an instrument, sewing etc. Doesn't that sound fun???
Havs and friends was done last year by HRI
Weather--we did Four Seasons

Keep them coming--

The Love and Care quilt was one that I thought of...didn't have much interest last year, but that one was about anything and everything having to do withy loving and caring for a havanese...brushes,combs,shampoos,hugging,shreddin g,toys, food, water bottles etc.

I'm explaining it more Linda to you because it may trigger a better idea from you or a spin off....many times those are best!

Under the 'Hav's Got Talent' theme, if you wanted, it could be narrowed down even more to something like 'Hav's Under the Big Top'....as I believe I read somewhere once that Hav's were used as circus dogs?? The general theme of 'talent' though provides a lot of possibilities. I am thinking that one could be fun.

or another theme doing 'human' things,

Hav's Just Wanna Have Fun or Hav's Party On or Hav's Gettin Down - a Party theme or celebration of some kind - Costume party, luau, barbecue, etc.

or

A Patriotic Theme of some sort

Linda, I would never narrow it down. People come up with the most inventive ideas. You don't want to box them in a corner.
