Michele has been with the group off and on through the years. I am always happy when it is a year she can join us! She made this block...... all done by hand too.....

Titled " Basket of Cheer"

Inspiration : "my inspiration came from seeing all the new puppies on the forum. It made me remember seeing lots of photos of pups in baskets."

Phyllis joined us this year too for the first time! It was wonderful to have her on board. Great job Phyllis! Her title and inspiration :

"Can You Play With Me?" - inspired by the endless playful nature of the Havanese.

This was my block.
I call it "Flower Crush" and it was inspired by the song Dog and Butterfly by Heart. I can imagine a pup rolling around and smashing the flowers as she plays with the butterflies. ;-)

Christy's second block: Titled "Every Little Thing"
her inspiration: I love how my Havanese are so curious and will stand up on the their hand legs and stretch up tall to check out every little thing.

Donna also made a second block this year.

"Chasing Butterflies" I think if my pups could hold a butterfly net, they would have even fun chasing so many beautiful butterflies. What would they do if they caught a butterfly? Most likely they would just look at it and not have a clue as to what to do!

Oh Julie - I just love this!! They are all so so beautiful!!!

I want everyone to know, that although I drew the beautiful pic of Joey, with the butterfly, that Julie (thank you thank you thank you) sewed my block!!!

I do not sew, and will never sew! Unless you are talking about a button - lol

So thank you Julie, for letting me part of this, without me having to sew! YOu all who did your blocks are just so talented!!!!! I know that we will all be so proud of this quilt!!

It's so much fun when you start to recognize people's "style"! I knew this was Linda's before I saw the name! Love it!
