Charlie bolted from the vicinity of 2929 Spring Hammock Drive, Plant City FL, a residential area.
He is 6 yrs old and recently rescued from a Puppy Mill.
Wearing a black harness with the black & yellow leash attached.
He is a neutered male, microchipped, 14 lbs, white/cream in color in a short puppy cut.
Needs medication!
Extremely shy to begin with and now he must be extremely scared.
Owners: George & Penny Bragg
Phone numbers: (813) 404-3762 and (813) 404-3762
Charlie received IV fluids today and slept most of the time. He is home with the HRI Volunteer tonight and ate a good dinner with real chicken and rice! He has to wear a cone during the day because of the drain tube in his back and the stitches. He has them off for the night and is snuggled in his bed. He will get the stitches removed in 10 - 14 days.
I know so many of you, including me, worried so about Charlie when he was missing in FLorida last January...we were all so happy when he was found and I remember Geri's comment...she hoped he had a good life from here on out...well, I got permission from HRI to post this painting of Charlie...all I could think of was the phrase above..."If they could see me now"... and I wanted everyone to see Charlie. He is living large and so deserves it!!
Charlie's owner sent a photograph to HRI a few weeks back..he was in the boat on the river and it absolutely made me cry with joy to see him...he looks so proud!!! I asked for permission to use the photograph for a painting and received it. Now again, with permission I am sharing the painting with all who worried about Charlie...and thanks for all the caring!!! HRI is great and so are you guys!!
Thanks Karen, we were all so worried about him..now he looks like King of the World..lol..so good to see. This painting will hopefully be on the HRI on line auction to raise money for HRI
Yes, I remember we had a prayer chain going for that little guy...I too was just so happy when we got news he was found and was going to be okay. It is always nice when the outcome is good! Thanks for the compliment on my painting, I loved the photo when I saw it..he is one more exciting little dog!!!
Thank you so much, I hope it will make some money for HRI when it goes on the on line auction. But mostly wanted everyone to see him, looking so proud!! It made my heart sing!
