Missing Small Dog Alert, Oliver Alert, Lost Paws Finder

I found out about several Facebook pages that offer help in finding dogs. One of the is Oliver Alert, which also has a website http://www.oliveralert.com/, Lost Paws Finder, and Missing Small Dog Alert whose administrator prepared and posted (and shared) a poster for Sassi.

Michele said that they're expecting freezing rain. I hope Sassi is warm and dry.

Has she gotten no leads from the different things she's tried? No sightings? I know exactly how she feels. My heart is breaking for her.

Not since Sunday evening. Then, Monday night was really stormy, so she and others had to go out and re-post their posters because so many blew away.

This is SO sad Im' certainly praying for her safe return and that she has found a warm safe haven until she finds her way home.

I had hoped to read an update that Sassi had been found.
My heart breaks for her and for her family.
Saying prayers and sending good thoughts~

*has she contacted the radio stations? I was thinking maybe if they made several announcements that could help, newspapers, and maybe even the local tv station? If she has a medical condition and was a former dog show champion or something...it may grab enough attention to make it on the news along with a picture. The reason I say this is because once a couple hours south of me there was a bad accident and they had several dogs that ran loose along the interstate. They spent days trying to locate them and they made the local news. It was like a miracle......word spread and so many people were looking that they found the dogs.

I'll pass along your ideas, Julie. I know that Michele has contacted local TV stations, but I have not heard if any of them have run the story.

I also do not know if Michele wants to say anything about Sassi's show career. She has not mentioned Wincroft in her Craigslist ads. I guess I should ask her.

Thanks.

Yes--maybe that isn't a good idea??? I don't know...???
I was just thinking of a way to add a spark of interest to a tv station in an effort to have them pick up the story.

I hope she has some good news and a good samartian comes forward with Sassi.
This is heartbreaking.

She has contacted the police department? I was thinking as they patrol they could keep an eye out for her or anyone in possession of her.

You know--I was just thinking of something.

Right now in my area we have girl scouts coming around to sell cookies. I wonder if she could contact troops and supply them a flyer and each girl could go door to door with their cookie sales and also the flyer to question people if they have seen this dog.

I know when my daughter was in girl scouts they would of welcomed this and probably would of contacted our whole service unit for help. This is something wholesome and good for girls and gives back to the community.
