My kashi who will be 10 in July has just showed signs of trembling after food in the morning and after a walk in the evening. I don't know if it's old age or something more serious. He does take gabapentin for pain twice a day plus CBD oil. Should I take him to the vet and have him run a battery of tests or wait it out? Our weather here has been crazy one day warm and humid next day cold rain and windy. I also walk him three half hour walks a day. I hope I'm not over exerting him.....

For me if there was something new, I'd (1)take video of it to show the vet (in case it doesn't happen at the vets) and (2)go to the vet. I'm not good at waiting something out (at least when it's Perry - if it's me I wait things out )

That sounds like a good plan. Thanks Melissa

I agree with the "Video and vet check." If he's trembling/shaking it is very possibly pain.

I would get him checked out at the vets.

The tremors have stopped I think it was from giving him too many long walks per day at his age. I shortened the walks to twice a day and the trembling has stopped. Hooray!

Question if the gabapentin that he is on is not given exactly every twelve hours on the dot could this be the reason for his shivering?
