Yes..I move into my house next week and it's time I find another Hav. My second and final as MHS cannot strike again (I can't afford 3 dogs..lol)
I know I want a brown or black hav. Or a black with a bit of white in the coat. Male because females love their owners but males are IN love with them.. and that holds true so far. A puppy with good temperament and a happy disposition. I'm not NEEDING champion sired..he'll just be neutered anyways. Hopefully that will cut down a bit on the price tag and someone in DFW would be even better.
....Since my list is so long it should take me a while to find another perfect pup! In the meantime I Think I'll get Capote neutered...
How exciting! Take your time and if you find something adorable let me know. I secretly still working on my search while I convince hubby! Hopefully the day I convince him, the next day I can go pick up the puppy <BG>
That is wonderful. I know Capote will love a little brother. I would love, love, love to have another puppy for Smarty to play with when we are home, but traveling with 2 would be hard. So I must wait. Good luck in your search.
How exciting! My second Hav is mostly black with some white too - adds a little bit of excitement there - it seems to be a fairly common color configuration so hopefully you can find a pup you like easily. I just like that the dark coat doesn't show the dirt and staining (like Lincoln's white feet and belly) as much.
When you say "brown" do you mean Havana brown? Or a chocolate Hav?
It sounds like a great idea! I bet Capote would love a new buddy to play with and what would make a better housewarming gift? Happiness is a warm puppy. :biggrin1:
Congratulations and good luck with your search. I just know that Capote is going to love having a little brother. :biggrin1:
