My First Havanese
Hi Everyone,
I am new to the forum and new to the Havanese breed. I have a fourteen and a half year old Lab and a ten year old Lab and a six month old Havanese puppy. His name is Desi and he is just awesome. I am showing him this weekend at the IX Center in Cleveland, Ohio in Conformation. It will be the first time for both of us in the show ring. We do not have big expectations, but I think it will be a lot of fun.

wow! awesome! good luck!! My pup is 6 months also! I can't imagine showing her... but then again, I've never even BEEN to a show! LOL

Welcome to the forum! Hope to hear more from you about your show experience this weekend. From what I've heard it is best just to relax and have fun your first time so your puppy will pick up your relaxed vibes, too!

Thank you, everyone for being so welcoming. What a great group of people and wow, what cute Havanese dogs you guys have. I have some more pictures in my profile and of course, a camera loaded with pictures. I am sure you can all relate.
Will anyone be at the IX Center in Cleveland this coming weekend? I would love to meet you, I will be showing Desi in the 6 to 9 month class.
