Two puppy K classes, concurrent or sequentially?
We are picking up our new puppy at the end of March, and knowing how important socialization is, I'm looking at puppy kindergarten classes. We signed him up for a series of 4 classes starting in early April, because that's the earliest I could find.
A couple of my friends also highly recommended a different company local to us, so I'm thinking of adding classes there as well. My husband thinks if we enroll the puppy in 2 different classes at the same time, he'll get confused, so he wants to take them sequentially. If we do that, the puppy will be 15 weeks by the time the second one starts, and I'm wondering if that's too late. Do you think there's any harm in doing them concurrently? Will the pup get confused by different styles/commands? Both of them use positive reinforcement methods, FWIW.
One of the companies also has a requirement that the puppy be in his forever home for 10 days before starting the course. I've been trying to contact them by phone to find out the reason but haven't been successful so far. Anyone know the reason behind this?
Thanks so much for your insight!
