Loose stool only at night

We are feeding two 4 1/2 months old puppies with Canidae Grain Free All Life Stages. We asked the salesperson at the store and they said the food is fine even for puppies. We were a little worried about too much protein.

We notice in the morning, their stool is hard as rock. As the day goes by, their stool gets softer and softer. After their evening meal (last meal of the day), it's almost diarrhea like. Is it the food or something else? Too much water? Too much excitement? Too much running around?

Hi, I asked my vet about to much protein because I add chicken to their diet he said I should not worry because I don't add very much chicken. I have hurd it is fine to give the all life food.
I have been trying to figure out why Maddie is having problems myself and it does get worse at night. I am beginning to think it might be teeth. I have looked up just about everything on the internet and that makes sense to me. It has to do with the saliva and bacteria . It could be to much water.
