Neutered two days ago..

Oliver is almost 14 months old and we decided it was time to neuter him. He seemed pretty sad the first day, second day too energetic and starting to lick the incision (despite the onesie. He figured out how to get around it) I might still need to get him a cone, but for now we are using newborn jammies. He’s about 10.5- 11 lbs depending on the scale. I think he’s adorable

Get Well Soon, Oliver! Don't make mommy crazy by trying to be too active or biting at your incision!

Oliver, you're going to be okay!

- Ricky was neutered at 10 months
- Ricky was drugged up and totally out of it his first day
- Second day he was stressed out by the cone he was wearing (the most stressed out I think I have ever seen him)
- Third day I purchased a doggie diaper, that look like a pair of blue jeans, for him at Petco
- Fourth day, Ricky was wearing his blue jeans and bouncing off the walls. I called the Vet. He said keep him quiet has much as possible, no long walks, check his sutures frequently for bleeding or tearing, and other than that, let Ricky get back to his routine as soon as Ricky feels like it. The Vet said he would be more concerned about Ricky chewing or biting at his sutures than his feeling well enough to exercise a bit. Your Vet may have a different protocol for recovery, so check with them.

Five years later, Ricky is a very happy, very healthy, very active, muscular, 15 pound adult male with tons of libido

Oliver you are going to be just fine.

Oh he's so cute! Looks like he's not to pleased with the jammies! Here's a shot of Willow in her one piece when she was spayed.

Awww... cutie pie! It was a long time ago now, but as I remember it, it was the first 2-3 days that were bad for Kodi. (and most of that was because the tech had shaved him WAY too close and too much, so that he got TERRIBLE razor burn, which itched like CRAZY!!!) After that, he bounced back pretty quick!
