I think he needs a trim

There's not enough hair to pull up. It's the hair under his eyes that always seems to be up in his way. Should I ask a groomer to just trim around his eyes?

where ARE his eyes!? LOL,
if you aren't planning on showing him, then YES I would definitly trim around his eyes, or ask a groomer to.

Basically, you either let it grow, and the sticky up bits will fall down, and the fur on top of his head can be tied up in a top knot, or you can have his face trimmed up,just a little around his eyes, but if you have it trimmed, and then want to grow it again you will have to keep an eye on it because it may grow into his eyes again, but either way he will look adorable!

Thanks, I'll ask a groomer to do it. I don't trust myself. He has such pretty eyes I'd like to see them!

When Bailey was little, I was so frustrated because I couldn't see his gorgeous eyes. Everyone convinced me to wait it out, telling me eventually the hair could be trained to go down, instead of up, covering his eyes. There's no right or wrong to it. Just know, once you start, you'll probably be committed to keeping it that way.

When Augie was little, his hair grew in all sorts of directions around his eyes and I couldn't see his eyes either. When I mentioned to the vet that I needed to trim it, he advised me not to - said when it started growing out again, after being trimmed, those blunt ends would poke his eyes. He advised just to wait and, with length, it would eventually lay down. So, I would think that once you start trimming, you are going to need to be careful to keep it up so that it does not poke the eyes, if the hair has a tendency to grow toward them.

By the way, Coco is one cute little furball!
