Housebreaking- peeing while lying down.

Hello.
We have had Leo for 4 weeks now. Things are going well in general.
However today we came across an issue with him and I wanted some advice on it from the experts. This evening, Leo was lying flat on his tummy chewing his toy and then after a few minutes he got up and there was pee on the floor and all over him. There was no warning, nothing. He did cough and sneeze prior to the pee.. So I am not sure if his bladder just leaked? It was a lot of pee though! I had taken him out 20 minutes before so he should have been empty. He had also just finished playing fetch.. so not sure if he was so tired that he did not bother to tell me. We were all in the room too. In general he has had very few accidents, we have been so good about getting him out. He has never made a mess in his crate either. And he does tell us on his own sometimes. So confused by this?

Thanks for any thoughts on this.

The only thing that I can think of is that he was so busy chewing that he ignored his bladder. I do know that when they play they need to go potty more than when sleeping. He is a cutie!

I have never had that happen at least I have not seen that. I wouldn't worry about it wait and see if it happens again. If it does ask your vet what he thinks.

I don't think I would worry about it, either unless it happens again then I would have him checked for a bladder infection.
