Milo at work

I thought it was time to start a new thread for all those following my quest for a havanese puppy and my ultimate good fortune in getting Milo, the sweetest puppy on earth -- except for all of yours of course.

For all the photo lovers out there, here's what Milo thinks of working, day 2.

When I take mine to work, which is a gym, the get to run around the aerobic room for 10 mins or so. Then they come into the reception area with me, eat breakfast, and go to sleep. They have beds under my desk and just curl up. When Kodi was a puppy, he would sleep on the desk. They adapt easily.

Kara,

So far I've taken him to the office every day and plan to for at least the first few (several) weeks. After that we'll see. I also have a home office so I can work from here much of the time. I love having him with me.

Yesterday I bought him a lookout seat for the car but they didn't have the harness I wanted so I'm on a quest for that so he can sit comfortably in the back seat surveying his new world. He must have come from a very quiet place because he's surprised, occasionally startled, and always fascinated by the many and sometimes cacophonous sounds on Long Island.

Michele,

I plan on getting him a bed for under my desk. Well see how that works out. He's so mellow. I've only heard him bark about four times so far.

Milo looks about like Rufus at work. I take him every day too!

Sally, I have the same problem! I have one co-worker that gives him treats even though I have hinted pretty strongly, that he is skipping meals in favor of the junk-food treats she offers. I'm thinking I will stock up at a local place called The Barkery (like bakery ya know?) and asking her to use these treats instead of white toast with butter, or french fries!

Well I wear a Law-Enforcement Type Uniform at my Job with a Buletproof Verst and everything and I think Radar would look absolutely Bad-Ass in one of those Duty Belts and a Vest. I just love the Work Pics....Too Precious.
