Whining

I know this sound crazy but every time Rio has a certain toy in his mouth he whines. He loves this toy. I have checked to see if the toy has anything tht is sticking him. With this toy, he will walk around whining until he puts it down. Should I take it from him? Is he just so in love with it that he whines?

Lizzie does the same thing with her cow. She always does it after eating. Sometimes she will bury it in the couch pillows. It is so cute!

I have one that does that too! She is spayed, and I thought it had to do with transition from being a mom and now no longer...who knows? But she is quite pretective of it.

awwwwww, don't take it away from him!
Tillie does this also, with a dirty little cloth white bone that is her "lovie" ... mainly after meals also. Sometimes she will attempt to bury it in the couch cushions, but usually she just grabs it, whimpers and whines, jumps up onto the back of the couch and whines some more. I think that they just LOVE that specific toy SO much and are literally IN LOVE with it... and apparently whimpering and trying to bury it are the only ways they know how to express this deep affection for a toy. a specific toy. This is also the toy she grabs whenever anyone comes to visit, people always think she wants them to throw it for her. She doesn't, she just wants everyone to see how "wonderful" her toy is... she also runs and finds it first thing in the morning before jumping on the kids beds and waking them up. LOL silly havs...

hmm ...Whimsy has a particular toy that she loves, but I have never heard her whine when she carries it around.

Yes, Kodi has a couple of favorites too, but he doesn't whine about them... he just loves them to death. I'm afraid to say that Kodi is VERY rough on his toys. Most stuffed toys are eventually reduced to "skins". The funny thing is that it's not all about the stuffing... he loves them kust as much once the stuffing has all been removed. He has a "Santa Skin" that he carries around all the time. It just looks so... wrong!

Lizzie is very hard on her toys, too. I was so surprised when she finally took all the stuffing out of her favorite cow. The poor guy was her first toy. Now he too is a skin, but she still loves him!
