Puppy Supplies

So Finley officially comes home May 12th! I get more pictures from the breeder this weekend and I of course will share.

I have just a couple questions for you experts until then:

1- After much research I have decided to go with Innova puppy food, but I noticed on here people talking about "complete meals". Is this brand something that needs to be supplemented?

2- What type of combs/brushes do you recommend brand and type, I ordered Ziggy's shampoo/conditioner and detangler for baths.

Thanks again for all your help!

Welcome to the forum.
1. I don't think you need to supplement puppy food like Innova. People talk about supplements when they homecook for the dogs.
2. Many of us use Chris Christensen #5 buttercomb and wooden pin brush. I am using Ziggy's and I love it.
Waiting for the pictures !!! So exciting.

The buttercomb is fabulous and I also purchased the face comb. It was suggested to me and I love it. Nothing like having a small comb approaching puppy's face instead of a large one. I also have the wooden pin brush. haven't used it much yet since puppy is only 15 weeks. But the buttercomb is a must. It's pricey but you won't regret it.

Oh, and in addition to the Ian Dunbar book Before and After you get your Puppy - The Focused Puppy is excellent.
