Poor Oreo went for a tumble :(

So I was leaving my in-laws house with Oreo in his crate. My in-laws house has a small grade to the property where there is a path with about 5 steps to the sidewalk.

As I am walking down the steps, the handle of Oreo's crate broke and he went tumbling down the grass beside the stairs while he's inside the crate. He must have rolled a 720 before the crate stopped on it's side. He was freaking out inside his crate.

When I got him home, he's ok..little shaken up and was afraid of his crate. I'm like...oh no, I hope he will forget this horrible experience and luckily he did as he had no issues going into his travel crate this morning.

Oh, poor baby. How frightening for him (and you too). I've had that happen with Brody's crate handle coming off only he didn't go tumbling in it.

Oh that poor baby. I can imagine the terror you both felt. Thank goodness he's okay.

Poor baby! I'm so glad you were able to get him to go back in this morning... make sure he has lots and LOTS of extra-good experiences in the crate after that one!

Kodi has never liked being in the crate when it's being moved.(and he's never had a bad experience in it either!) So I just take him on a leash and carry the crate to where ever he needs to be.

Poor little guy. I am glad he is ok though. I feel down a short flight of steps carry Bella one. Thankfully I took the brunt of it and softened her fall!

Poor thing.
I have dropped my dogs a few times, from my hands, from my bed (just last nigt I dropped Toby) and from the Sofa! I shouldn't be allowed to pick them up...
