He's finally "getting it"

Jinx is starting to let us know when he needs to go out. He's only had two accidents in about a week and in all honesty, they were my husband's fault.

Yeah Jinx!

Now the little rascal is stealing everything! Walk down my hallway and you will pass multiple socks, underwear, shirts, towels. He seems to really like clothing. I just caught him eating my headband. Gryff destroyed a few of those too. Gryff was super bad with eyeglasses, so we are extra careful with those now.

That positive reinforcement is real important now. Though, everytime I'm sure Cass has it, she will slip up too. Still, 90% is a victory in my eyes! Congrats!

I think stealing is half a game with them. But, they are so darn cute, it's impossible to stay mad at them.

So happy for you! It takes time and patience, also it helps to have a plan for accidents that you can live with. My DH is very bad with signels also, so bad that my Bolonka who will not use the dog door, I bought bells poor thing pulled them off the door handle and he still did not get it!!! I came home and he conplained that she went on the rug by the dog door and I see the bells on the couch, so I said did you take the bells off, he then launches into this crazy dog brought them over to play....maybe someday they will have a spouse doggy awareness class.

Great going with Jinx you are on your way.

Good boy Jinx!

Maybe he feels he deserves socks and underwear prizes for all his good work

Sign up my hubby, too. Maybe it should be expanded to kids as well. Or connect a device to the bells that will interrupt the tv and video games. I could make a fortune if I could figure out how to do that.

Victory dance for Jinx! He has made it to the next level.

Pam

How old is he? Benny is 12 weeks old and I have noticed him going to the door when he has to poop. Pee... well, that he hasn't quite gotten yet.
