Whimpering and Face rubbing

PA is 4 months now and has started rubbing the side of his face on the floor and whimpers and squeals a little. He is also whimpering lightly at night on and off. I was just at Doc Hunter's for a set of shots and he checked out his ears and his eyes and both are completely fine. Could this be do to teething? Has anyone had any similar experiences?

Joey does the exact same thing, but he prefers concrete and asphalt surfaces. Also had him checked at the vet and he is fine. He doesn't whimper at night, though. Just a crazy habit, I guess :-)

I bet it could be teething. See if PA Likes cold mini carrots. I started that when mine were teething and now its our major treat. I don't give more than three or four a day. You can even freeze them.
