Comet came home today!!

We picked up Comet today and had an uneventful (phew) drive home from the breeder's . We introduced him to the backyard before letting him in and then he ate a nice meal and had some playtime with the family before falling asleep in his xpen. Here he is hanging out in his new bed:

BTW: when we took him outside to go pee, he ate grass instead and showed no interest in peeing. He did go on the ugodog right away (yay!). We do want to have him go outside though and wondering how harmful it is if he eats grass?

Eating grass won't hurt him. We call Kodi our little cow because he eats so much grass!!!

He's absolutely adorable, and he will get the hang of peeing outside as he spends more time out there with you.

Awww - such a sweet puppy. He is due for a few low-key days after his Baer test.

The only real problem with eating grass is if something bad for him has been sprinkled on it such as insecticide or fertilizer. My dogs eat grass when they are hungry or if their guts are upset.

I try to stop my guys from eating grass anywhere except at our house because lots of other dogs (and other animals) have been there before peeing and/or pooping, and I do not want my guys to be exposed to any other dog's germs.

With your little guy, you won't be walking him anywhere else until he has had his shots anyway.

Have fun with your new puppy.

He is so cute - what a sweet face...

Like Starr's Panda eats grass when her stomach is upset. Its usually followed by a poop shortly thereafter...

At first ours liked to pee on the pee pads more than outside, they would almost hang on until they could come inside and use the pads.It was the same when they first started going out for walks, they didn't want to pooped during the walk and would try and wait until they were in the back garden,I think it is about feeling safe in their own area.Anyway these habits didn't last long.Comet is a stunning pup,he looks as if he has a sturdy little body, and the softest fur, like a dear little teddy.

What a cute small snowball!. I love puppies, but I do not like the work and dedication.....getting too old, lol. Enjoy the happiness and silliness, babies are so cute. Post lots of pictures, it is a requirement of all puppy owners.
