Hank @ the Disneyland 1/2 Marathon

My wife and I just returned from our Labor Day weekend in California (mild 4.7 earthquake and all) spending this past Monday running the Disneyland 1/2 Marathon in the 90 degree heat of Anaheim, California. I'm planning to run the Goofy Challenge (in Orlando) this coming January, and my wife is currently training for the Disney World Marathon portion as well. As you can see Hank was given my Finishers Medal when we arrived home. A pretty large chew toy if you ask me. We actually brought him with us on our trip from Colorado and he did exceptionally well on the drive and plane ride.

All the best,
'Lo

What a face on that little boy! Glad you enjoyed the CA experience (earthquake). Wow - I can't imagine running in the 90 degree heat. You are WAY braver than I.

He is gorgeous. Does he run with you? I run too, and have been on some short runs with Marvin, but I understand that it's not good to run them very far until they are around a year old. Hard on their paws and joints.

Congratulations!

This guys are great, aren't they?

Nope. Hank definitely doesn't run with me, he's only 16 weeks old tomorrow and I am acutely aware of injuring the little guy. He's there for moral support when my wife and I stretch after our runs.
