Picking up my "Emery" a week from Friday when he turns 8 weeks

I have a three year old golden retriever "Beaches" who will be his "big sister" She is very gentle, great with kids and other dogs and has never shown any signs of jealousy when we've had friend's little dogs stay over for the day and overnight. She seems to really enjoy sharing everything with other dogs-from favorite toys, and food, to my lap and attention.:-) She's big though (86 LBS) and a little on the clumsy side. How fragile will 8 week old Emery be? How worried should I be when they play and run around together?

Fun times in store...enjoy that little one, puppy hood goes so fast.
Just keep a good eye on them...puppies can be a little aggressive at times ( at least my little one is) so see how the older one tolerates this rough play.

Good luck ...we need lots of pictures

Welcome and congrats. Yep, you do have to monitor them very closely. Here's something on adding another dog.
