Katie is home - need help with photos

I have my 8 week old Katie home and she is adorable. The last two nights I had her in the crate but she cried all night. Last night, after she cried nonstop for an hour, against my better judgement, I took her out of the crate and brought her into bed. She slept all night and didn't try to get out of the bed..no pee or poop. I want her to see the crate as a safe place but the bed worked great for sleeping. I'll keep trying.

Need to work on potty training but she seems very happy with us so far.

I tried to upload a picture from my computer but it came in sideways. Any ideas on how to rotate it?

katiemom.. Bring up your picture from the file that you have it in and then right click on your picture( before you try to upload it) and see if an option comes up for you to rotate it either clockwise or counter clockwise. That's what I do.

Photos and crate

The crate was by the side of our bed. Sleeping in the bed is working so far and the crate works as toy storage (sigh). I'll keep working on it.

I signed up with Photobucket but don't see an option to upload photos. It may be because I'm working with my iPad rather than the laptop. The photos are right side up on my iPad but when I loaded them on this site they are sideways.

Still working on it and enjoying my puppy....stay tuned.

We had Beanie in her crate when she first arrived (3 years ago), but she did cry too. As soon as she was potty trained she graduated to the bed...but maybe we could have had her up there sooner? We are getting a new puppy next week; I am wondering if Beanie, who sleeps on our bed will be jealous of the little pup if she sleeps there too? What do you think?

So I can reply to a thread but I don't see the option to post a new one. A little help would be greatly appreciated.

Katie is doing well. Having fun and doing all things puppy.
