Puppy throwing up

Good morning,
Our 3 month old Havanese Toby started throwing up lately. We have made several gradual changes in his diet including removing canned food and introducing Blue Buffalo Puppy Development into his Orijen feedings. Also, Toby does a great job of finding every tiny scrap of food the kids drop on the floor while eating. It seems like right before he throws up he gets the hick-ups. He never seems lethargic or sick, always up beat and playful. Do you think this is something I should have our Vet check out? Should we keep him away from the dinning room while we are eating until we get the floor cleaned? What do you think? Any advice would be appreciated.

My advice would be to see your Vet and have him checked out. Keep us posted!

Is he throwing up daily? I would keep a record on when he did it, if he just ate, what he threw up, and (eww) maybe snap a video of him hiccuping and vomiting.

Then go to the vet with all of your info.

My guys used to throw up here and there as puppies. They don't throw up all that much now. If he is throwing up on a regular basis, I would take him to the vet.

If your kids tend to drop food, I would keep him away from they whenever they are eating. There are so many foods that we eat, that are poisonous to dogs. A few common ones are some nuts, raisens, grapes, chewing gum, chocolate...

Thank you all for the responses, I will make an appointment with the Vet and in the meantime, keep him out of the dinning room when the family is eating...I'll keep you all posted.
