Hello!

Hi everyone-

We're new parents to two havanese puppies who should be joining us in about a week and a half!! Honey is the girl and Hobie is the boy. We had a sharpei-lab mix about ten years ago-loved her and she was such a good dog, so we're excited to be dog-parents again!! We have a daughter-11-who is thrilled to have a pet. We've been reading up on how to take care of puppies/Havanese (Yes, the great Ian Dunbar guide!) but I'm sure we'll have a lot of questions once they come home!!

Thanks-we have been reading up on how to properly take care of two dogs; we can do it-we're committed to doing it and have a plan for it as well. Having our daughter be older and more responsible will definitely help with the process.

Very cute! Congratulations!

I have a friend with a Sharpei Lab cross. I'm not a big fan of Sharpeis, but this cross is a doll!!! The funny rhing about him is his head. If he's got his head up, you could ALMOST believe he was just a poorly bred Lab. Btu when he puts his head down, the skin is loose enough that it all falls forward, and you can definitely see the Sharpei in him!
