www.petedge.com as mentioned before, is my FAVORITE. I would recommend you to always double check with petedge if you find something you like else where. That way your DH will really love me

Most of my online shopping is done at petedge.com and dog.com. I've been happy with both, and DH has been less than happy at the amount of money I've dropped at each of them. Petedge has the best prices I've found on Frontline, so I usually wait until I need Frontline and then I can easily hit the amount you have to spend to not get charged the handling fee, or whatever it is they call it.

Pet Edge, JB pet, Dog.com ! Pet Edge has a minimum order amout or they hit ya with the extra fee so shop there first! They have the very best prices anyways and are a good place to stock up on lots of basic gear! Be careful on Amazon.com ! You need to be careful that the items you choose are coming from the same place since they offer things from many stores--otherwise you'll get hit with shipping rates for each different item (like I did!)

Kim Kim Kim - who are you kidding, you wont shop "till" your puppy comes!! I promise you will keep shopping for years!! I love Petedge.com - yes there is a minimum but I stock up on poop bags, and shampoos if I need addl. items to make my minimum. Have fun - and keep the credit card [email protected]!!

I appreciate the feedback. I know someone, somewhere, on another thread mentioned a must have Havanese book, but I don't remember what book it was. I'd like to get a good book about the breed, but i HATE those "breed" books that have 1 page about the breed itself, and then the rest of the book is the same as every other breed with regard to training, etc. So, if you have good book selections, please post those too!

Also, I think I'm going to order those puppia harnesses for Cricket (and Sake and Sushi). I guess Cricket will need 2? One to fit her at 8-10 weeks when I get her, and then we'll have to see how she grows and what size she'll need as an adult. The breeder is estimating that she'll be about 10 pounds....so start off with the small?? What do you think?
