ToothFairy

Last night, we had a lot of play time. Dasher was full energy and decided to even grab on to Belle's hair and take whatever she was willing to dish back. We went to bed and Dasher who is normally fine in his crate and goes to bed right away, threw a little bit of a fit. I just decided to ignore and I put the pillow over my face (his crate is parallel to my head). He quit barking and within in a minute i could hear him digging on his pillow to settle down. Instead I heard clink clank repeated. I slowly snuck my eye out to see what he was doing. It sounded like a small stone was being dropped on the metal bottom crate. So I tried to grab it in the door but had to turn the lights on and take it out of his mouth- you know that entire, suddenly I have gold thing. Well it ended up being one of his teeth. I was pretty grossed out <BG> but I think he was trying to put it under his pillow for the tooth fairy!

Amanda (who made sure Dasher received a new flossie when we got up this morning!)

Awwww, how sweet. I never did find any of Shelby's teeth, but I have one of Kodi's.

I bet 7 yr. old Andrew (my DGS) told Dasher about the tooth fairy when you guys were here a few weekends ago!

I found 3 of Tori's teeth. A canine, a molar and one of the teeny tiny ones from the front of her mouth. Guess she didn't know about the tooth fairy!

Aww - so glad that the tooth fairy visited Dasher. That's great they are coming out on their own. Keep an eye that a retained puppy tooth doesn't crowd an adult tooth - it can send a show bite off very quickly. Sounds like you won't have a problem however. And I know Miss Kathy's watching like a hawk too. LOL

Hehehe my DH did the same thing! I saved Nico's canines in a soapstone box, and when I went searching around in there the other night, they were gone!
