Pony tail looks like a horn!

OK, so Linus's hair is long enough to be in his eyes bothering him and too short to put in a topknot. I put a pony tail holder in and it looks more like a horn. He hates it. Any suggestions until it grows more? I didn't include a photo because he looks really humiliated.

The vet told me to get it out of his eyes because they are irritated.

Thanks in advance.
Karen

Maybe a little gel to hold it back off his face?

I use those snap barrettes in Sully hair, even now that it's long.

Gel, or even a bit of hairspray could help slick it back for now. Heather showed me a great trick were you take the shorter pieces in the front and make one little mini ponytail. Then you make one immediately behind that one and band those two together and that will help hold the shorter one back. I can take a picture of it if you want.

Hmm, I'll have to try that for my eyeless little boy too. I comb his hair up or to the sides and try to train the moustache down, but nothing works. He looks blind.

LOL Geri I just love Bailey's messy face (that's what DH called Riley in that stage)

Karen we need pictures in order to lead you in the right direction. Do not be ashamed this is one of the fun pain in the bum parts of puppy hood, we need proof so we can all laugh with you later on once it gets better.
