Hi Tatiana,
Congratulations on your new puppy.
I tried Blue Buffalo when McKenna was a puppy. She liked it for about 3 days before she decided that she didn't like it anymore....(goofy dog). I can't remember what I fed her after that. She's been on Blue Buffalo, Wellness Super 5, Natural Balance, Grandad's raw foods and now Taste of the Wild. The Wellness and the Taste of the Wild went over well with all my dogs as did the prepared raw.

When I recently tried a sample bag of the Blue Buffalo adult it gave Lilly GAS. So right back to the Tast of the Wild I went. It agrees with her the best for the longest time.

I've tried Blue Buff on MoMo and she loves it. Right now I'm just using the sample bag as treats for her.

I tried the sample bag of Blue on Jackson at around 5 months. He seemed to like it but then began picking out the "blue" bits . . . . wasn't worth it. He would scatter the all over the floor Guess they were weird to him. Now he's on Merrick's Grammy Pot Pie and all is well.

I fed mine Blue Buffalo for a while until the food scare. It was rated pretty good on dogfoodanalysis.com. Mine liked it, but they aren't really crazy about any kibble unless something is added to it.

Have you tried Bill Jac? My breeder recommended it for MoMo. Some says it good but some says it's not.

I've switched MoMo to Blue Buff and she's still think its her treats for being good..she is sooo happy whenever I feed her

We fed Abby Science Diet as recommended by her breeder but she pooped several times a day so I called a dog trainer I know and she said not to feed anything that has corn as the first ingredient. So, after much internet research, we got the Blue Buffalo for small breeds and she only poops about three times a day and it is much smaller. I don't know for sure if she likes it but she eats it so that's good enough for us!!

Miley LOVES Blue Buffalo food. I originally fed her Iams, but she wasn't eating it very well. When I got the sample of Blue Buffalo, and she scarfed it down, I decided to buy Blue and mix it with her Iams to use it up. Well, she PICKED OUT the Iams, left it on the floor, and ate only the Blue Buffalo food. I ended up throwing the Iams away. (she's too smart for her own good...my kids wouldn't even get by with that!) I think her tear stains are starting to get less & less too. I'm hoping this food does the trick...I will be SO happy if she loses the tear stains! There seems to be a pattern with picky eaters in the Havanese family. So when you find a food they like, stick with it!

Renee, Miley, & Copper too!
