Rashes

I took Momo out for a walk after she got all her booster shots 3 weeks ago. I also switch her from Eukunoba to Blue Buff about the same time.

She been developing rashes on her right side last week. It start on her right shoulder, then slightly above right front hand and now some part of her right neck.

I've bathed her twice with puppy shampoo since then but it rashes does not seems to go away. Momo is scheduled for rabbies shot this coming Tuesday but I just would like to know if there is any reason to worry about the rashes.

What would cause the rash? Insects bites? Food allergy? or is it just the hot humid weather of NYC?

Snce the rash is spreading I would take her in to the vet. It could be a food allergy or an environmental allergen. Better to be safe than sorry. I'd definitely hold off on the rabies shot until you know what might be causing the rash.

Sorry to hear about that. I agree with Susan. If it's spreading, it's better to stop it before it gets worse. Hope everything works out soon!

I agree. Go to the vet. Lilly did that and she had an allergy to pollen. The vet gove me an antibiotic and she healed up plus I gave her benadryl. Let us know what the vet says.

Good news! Nothing wrong with Momo! Doc said the rashes might be due to the heat. She said that perhaps Momo just love to lie on the that side. Some of the rashes is fadding, thank god! Other than that, Momo is a very healthy pup!

Momo gained 2.5 lbs in 1 mth time!
