Cuba doesn't play well with others

Hello,

I have been dogsitting my boyfriend's Yorkie. She' two years old and about 8 or 9 pounds. Cuba, who is 4 months old and about 6 to 7 pounds, bullies her. He bites her. Steals her toys. Growls at her. Nina, the Yorkie, barks in her defense, but Cuba doesn't care about barking. He continues his bad behavior. What should I do to get Cuba to play better with her. I end up telling him to stop and picking him up or putting him in his crate for a time out, but nothing is working so far.

As for other dogs, Cuba mostly meets bigger dogs in our neighborhood. Then, he usually sniffs and hops around a bit, but he is not as aggressive as he is with Nina.

Help!

Hope

Cuba is still young but this is a perfect opportunity for some training. Nina is doing the right think by warning Cuba.
Are you sure what you see as bullying and stealing isn't just play?

In any event, it's up to you as the pack leader to correct Cuba.

My Smarty is not at dog's dog. There is only one dog she will play with that is my son's standard poodle. All the other dogs she wants to get to them, smell and walk away. At classes she will run with the pack when they are allowed to play, but has no part of individual play.

Cuba sounds pretty normal for his age. He has plenty of puppy energy and not the best social skills yet, but he'll get there. The Yorkie will teach him faster than you could, just make sure she isn't in trouble. If he's irratating her she will teach him with some growls, some light nips, even ignoring him. You need to watch that it doesn't get totally out of hand or one dog is not being bullied.

The Yorkie is not used to be around dogs. I have not seen her growl or bite/nip him once. All she does is bark (which doesn't phase Cuba) and run. Occasionally, she will jump into someone's lap for protection. This morning, Cuba was biting her harness. I had to physically remove him. I keep hoping that the Yorkie will teach him some manners, but I think she is too timid to do anything.

Cuba is definitely a bully. He will push her out of the way to get to her food. He will try to grab a treat out of her mouth if I give her one first. I am making Cuba sit and stay after I give Nina her treat hoping it will calm him down a little. I also keep telling him no, but that seems to last all of a minute before he's after her again.

Cuba may be exercising his right as the lead dog in the home.

I took care of a friend's dachshund and it was the same thing with Henry except this way a couple of weeks ago and Henry is 2 yrs old now.
Poor little Coco had to keep running to me for safety from my little Henry. i was so nervous one of them would get hurt! Here's a pic from that weekend:
