So I am planning on getting a Havanese puppy soon. I found a breeder who had one female left available (she looks like the runt of the litter) who will be ready to go home on April 19th. The breeder is pretty busy for the next few weeks and I will not be able to visit the pup and parents until April 13th.
However, the breeder sent me a video of the puppy still available. She seemed calm when the breeder picked her (she didn't struggle or whine), but she didn't seem too interested in interacting with her litter mates and I think she was growling when another pup pinned her (I couldn't really tell who growled, but I think it was her). She also seemed pretty focused on the breeder and was following her around in the video.
I'm wondering if this is normal puppy behavior, or is a warning sign of possible dog aggression later on? I'm not too familiar with puppy play behavior as this will be the first puppy I will raise by myself (I had dogs growing up). I would like some opinions on whether this puppy seems like she will ok temperament wise (I don't want her to be dog aggressive), or if I should wait for the next litter of pups which is due somewhere around May 7th (though even then I will be the 3rd or 4th on the list to pick out a puppy). Thanks in advance for any help!
