Question Do your puppies have a bedtime?

We try to keep Duncan up but it seems he can't make it pass 9pm.
I guess he plays hard during the day and takes tons of naps?Do your puppies take lots of naps?Sorry all these silly questions, but it's my first time being a puppy mom!!

Puppy bedtime is about 10pm. They get up at 6:30-7am. They nap during the day, but naps are getting shorter, especially with the nice weather.

Yes, all of mine go to bed when I go to bed and sleep quietly until I get up in the morning. We all head upstairs typically around between 9-10pm and get up at 6:00am'ish! My body won't allow me to sleep in anymore no matter when I go to bed nor how much I would love to be able too!

Dogs do best on a routine just like human children do.

Izzy goes to bed between 8:30 and 9:00 depending upon our activities during the evening. She sleeps with me until I get up around 5:15. She naps during the day, but I'm not sure how long. We are gone from 7:30 until noon and I think she sleeps much of that time. She takes an hour nap in the afternoon and then again early evening. I find if she doesn't get enough sleep, she a little more hyper. Izzy isn't quite 6 months yet.

Smarty,13 weeks, wakes me every morning around 6 AM. I try my bet to get her to stay up late so I can sleep at least until 7, but no go. She does take alot of naps. it is a baby thing.

Houston is 15 weeks. He goes to bed at 9 PM (weekdays) or 10-11 PM (weekends) and is up at 6 AM with us. He sleeps alot during the day - it is a puppy thing. Sometimes on the weekend he is so worn out that he puts himself to bed when he has enough.

Don't feel foolish with us. Its hard being a new Mom or Dad with a puppy. This is my 3rd dog and I still felt nervous about it.

My husband, Ralph, has to be up at 4am, so he usually goes to bed around 8 or 8:30pm. By 8pm, if DH has not gone to bed, Kodi starts barking at him. He only quiets down when DH goes to bed, and Kodi will go with him. Kodi doesn't usually stay in bed, just has to make sure that Daddy goes to bed on time, i guess.
