Perfect's not Perfect anymore

At 9-13 weeks Smarty slept all night, went out to pee and poop, and was happy with her dry food. 13.1 weeks, She wants new food, wakes up at 2 AM and has quite a few accidents. I think the new food I started at night is to blame. My thinking was big meal at night lets Mom sleep later in the morning. WRONG. Sorry Smarty back to free feed, unless our friends have a better idea.

Sandi, taking a new road with Smarty and Galen

Sandi,
I always have water available, but I feed on a schedule. That way, I not only now what they are eating and the amount they are eating, but it also makes them "regular" for pottying too. At 13 weeks of age, she might be ready to cut down to two meals a day, but each puppy is different. You might try feeding her 3 times a day to start. In the morning after going potty, around lunchtime and then the last feeding around 6:00pm'ish. Remove the water around 8:30 and of course make sure you take her potty one last time late just before you go to bed.
