Sheleg was massively groomed today as he has many knots. Here is what he looks like after.
I'm still trying to confirm what breed he is a mix of Havanese with and looking at him "shaved" can possibly help with that.

I stand by what I said before. He looks to be a Shih Tzu x Poodle cross to me, and they are a very common cross.
Sheri and Melissa Woods like this.

I agree with @krandall , he appears to have an "underbite."

I am not qualified to offer any opinion on this topic. But he does have long legs for a typical Havanese. So he is probably a mix of something.

Regardless, he is welcome here, you are welcome here, and we all want to enjoy him together as he matures, his adventures, and more pictures and becomes part of our extended family.

Thanks to Krandall (again) and to Ricky's popi for the nice help. I'd live to know and discover more. It's all very interesting.
By searching the web, i found a dog that looks like the exact copy of Sheleg (that does not actually belong to me but to a friend) ... See following link. https://gramho.com/profile/havatzu_oreo/7190302011
But this dog seems to be a Havatzu as the Instagram page says.
The 2 dogs look like twin brothers.
The owners of Oreo met the breeder selling his puppies in front of some Wallmart and therefore have no further info about his origin and Sheleg was bought in a shop in Manhattan and was given a AKA registration saying he is a pure Havanese which doesn't seem right according to what you say and I tend to totally agree with you as well.
All the very best to all

The MOST important thing is that he seems to be a total sweetie and that you and he enjoy each other! You are totally welcome here no matter WHAT his actual heritage is. We've had many sorta-Havs, kinda-havs and maybe-havs here over the years! In the end, dogs is dogs!
