Ricky Ricardo is BAAAAAAACK!

Well it has been a challenging last 6 months!
* We sold our previous home of 7 years and purchased a new home in the same 55+ community
* We immediately started a somewhat major remodel and the work continues! (still no completed back yard)
* I have lost 40 pounds in the last several months as a result of going to Weight Watchers.
* Missed the Havanese Specialty in Las Vegas as a result of our new house closing that weekend. Had made plans to meet up with Papa and Mama of Shama. Tried to communicate with them but ShamaMama inbox was full and my messages bounced. ShamaMama please clean out your inbox.
* My usually trusty computer crashed and I lost all my saved passwords.
* Tried to reset my password on HF and it has been a nightmare. HF owners were VERY UNHELPFUL. Didn't answer any of my emails asking for help. GRRRRRRRRR!
* Was unable to wish Ricky Ricardo a happy 6th birthday on January 21. So, happy birthday big guy. You make my life complete and full of joy!
* Had a fall in November and busted up my knee pretty bad. Had another fall in December andput a gash in my forehead, a black eye, and two broken ribs. Getting old is physically challenging!
* I am currently flat on my back in bed with a bad case of bursitis in my right hip joint. Hobbled to doctor today. He prescribed bed rest, pain killers, and physical therapy. If not better in a week or two, he will take more drastic measures!
* With lots of time on my hands, I was able to reset my HF password this afternoon using grit, guile, determination, and a bit of swearing!

So there you have the abbreviated version of recent life at Ricky's house. There is more, but I will update in some of the current threads and a few new ones - for better or worse. Good to be back!

Oh, I’m so glad you’re back, though I’m sorry to hear why you were missing! You’ve been gone for periods in the past, so I was imagining you enjoying time in Mexico or on your boat! As you know, it hasn’t been the best of years for me either, but I am hoping 2020 will be better for BOTH of us!

Sorry! to hear about your fall and Life Adjustments. I wondered where you went.

Regarding passwords. Check out 1Password, it's a software program that allows you to access ALL of your passwords from any COMPUTER, MOBILE PHONE or TABLET with only 1Password. That's right ....You only have to Remember One Password. The passwords are stored off sight, not on your local computer.

I have 413 different passwords for different web sites I've visited. When a Hacker guesses one, "the fat guy on the couch" can't use it to access any of my other web sites.

When you change a password, 1PASSWORD, pops open and offers to store the new password. It automatically fills in passwords when you go to a web site.

My husband and I have been using it for years. No more worrying about trying to remember passwords, or writing them down.

You just have to remember ONE PASSWORD.

YOU DO NEED TO WRITE THIS ONE DOWN JUST IN CASE YOU FORGET ... BECAUSE IF YOU FORGET IT...THERE'S NO BACK DOOR.

Wow! I would be nervous to only have one password. We have a great password remembering method, but I'm afraid I can't share it with you ...

Here's a related travel tip. If you ever need to write down a number that you must remember for a trip (like the PIN for a cash card you rarely use), write down the number camouflaged in other numbers. For instance, write down your 10-digit phone number with your cousin's birthday somewhere within, and then sprinkle your PIN among those numbers. When you need your PIN, eliminate the other numbers, and, voilà! there it is!

Welcome back, Ricky and Popi! So happy to see you! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SWEET RICKY! I think of you often, like when Shama goes to bed in her pen and I think, "Oh yeah, I meant to get dried bananas for her. Ricky gets one every night when he goes to bed!"

Welcome back Popi and Ricky.

Since we are both very much on the steep side of the learning curve Skye and I have missed your sage advice.

Yippee! Ricky and Popi are back! I've been wondering about you two. Was about to send you a PM to see if everything was ok. Sorry to hear about all your injuries. Don't I know getting old is not for sissies. My husband fell back in September and is still not what he was. I've been diagnosed with AFIB. The doctor appointments seem to keep stacking up between both of us. I'm so glad to see a post from you.

A belated Happy Birthday to Ricky!
