I am not naming names or websites but I ran across a breeder that breeds the havanese and other dog breeds as well and she is selling them to take home at less than 1 month old! like 26 days!

I was shocked, I am soooo hoping it is a typo. The entire litter is this way.

Forgot to mention - that I was just browsing the internet for pictures. Definately not a reputable breeder. No testing, etc..probably raised outside in a kennel building.

Still, the age is what caught me off guard...Praying for the lives of those little ones that it is a typo.

YES A PUPPY FIX!

I have no idea why I have been so crazy looking for pictures lately. I guess the thought of a new addition in the future is starting to get me addicted to the closest thing I can have at this moment. PICTURES!

No matter what the breed...they are all so cute!

Many states have laws that forbid puppies from being able to be sold (or even transferred) before they are 8 weeks old. Unfortunately, Missouri is not one of them. Missouri is well-known as a puppy mill state and by the number of breeds available on that web site, I think it would be a safe assumption that this is a puppy mill.

I have seen a lot of "bad breeders" online and I am amazed at how many state that AKC papers available but will charge more for them over the listed price of the dog.

I thought I red somewhere in the AKC website that the breeder are not suppose to charge more....like it is an illegal action against the AKC ethics.

Yes, lots of read flags...but that was something that I see a lot with these types of breeders, thought they weren't supposed to do it that way.

I wonder if someone printed off that section of the AKC what those breeders would say or how they would react to it.

I can't imagine not having the internet to find information to help protect ourselves against things like this. I would be clueless.

OH, those poor dogs. Being thrown around like that and selling the pregnant one with the other two right before delivering. Man, if she needs them out of her hair that bad...give them to a rescue!

Sounds like she is a $$ hoard as well, if they are such a pain to her, then give to a rescue....but no, she wants to make a buck off them as well. And she says, "everyone wants easy money". HUH! hypocrite!
