I would love to get ideas of the types of exercise everyone provides for their Havs during cold and snowy months in cold climates? Our goldens used to get outside and just push through any snow that was there and play for a bit and then sleep all day....and I don't want Barney to miss out on his daily exercise requirements to keep him healthy.
Play catch in side use really soft toys LOL if you have a tredmill you can use that as long as you stay right next to them LOL we use to do that with shelties all the time.put it on a slow but not to slow for the dog .Lucky for me I dont live where it gets that cold .
Today it was in the 20's and snowing. Goldie got more excercise than she has all year. She wanted to be outside all day. I would let her go out for small amounts, but she never wanted to come in. She was never freezing, so I figure she is ok.
She loves loves loves the cold. Last year in Denver no one could get her inside and it was colder. They were afraid her but was going to freeze to the porch.
