I have a 10 month old havanaise (Alfie) and want to have his hair trimmed into a puppy cut for the summer. However ... when I took him to the vet for his jabs he told me that you shouldn't cut a havanaise until it has got it's adult fur the same as the Maltese.
I'm not sure how I will cope with...
Rory's first heat has just begun, I am assuming, based on the presence of a small amount of blood and her age, just shy of 10 months.
Her coat is also matting more readily, which I presume may be the dreaded 'blowing' of coat?
Do these generally coincide like this, or am I just one lucky guy?
