I know it's very hard to have him in the hospital and away from you. It's good they know what to work on with treating him now and it sounds like he's in good hands. I'm all too familiar with pancreatic issues and it's never an easy thing.Update -
Just spoke with Boo's doctor. They now have a working diagnosis of acute pancreatitis. Boo was noted to have bacteria in the urine. So, it is being cultured. They have started him on antibiotics, and he is stable at present. The expectation is that he will be hospitalized for 3 to 5 days. After 2 days, they should have a better idea about the course of this illness. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed, and hoping for a favorable outcome.
