Today I had a black Jeep Cherokee just pull right in front of me as I’m doing 50mph on a busy hwy - slammed on the brakes and all four wheels locked in and I lost rubber on this sudden stop and thank goodness there was no one behind me or they would have smashed into my vehicle. Now I am safety conscious and buckle up my little girl too. She has a vest like harness and then she is buckled into the vehicle seat buckle. She went flying and landed on the floor in front of the seat. Without the seat belt she would have hit the dash board and could have been seriously injured. That $&@)(‘ is very lucky I have angels holding me back from what could have been a serious accident as he would have been t-boned. Be safe everybody and buckle up the pup.

I am glad you had her buckled, and VERY happy for you that she wasn’t hurt. But she would be MUCH safer in a safe crate, buckled into the back seat of your car. Harnesses, even “safety tested” ones, can cause serious spinal injuries, even break a dog’s neck in a strong impact.
