I know that the subject of "separation Anxiety" in Havanese comes up time and again, and I say, many times, that IMO, it is mostly human-made, and something you can see in any breed. Oh yeah - Perry has definitely gotten worse during COVID with us home all the time and working from home (his distress once let out of his crate, jumping around, making noises... despite the fact that he gets zero attention beyond holding him still enough to hook his leash til that all calms down). He was very very good about just hanging in his bed during working hours - but his ability to tell time greatly improved. I got out of work at 4, and it's right around then that he would want to jump on my lap to remind me that work was supposed to be over. (As you can see from the screen, I may have still been sitting at my desk but I was not working )
