Dear Diary,

This is my final entry. This morning around 7:00 am, I lost consciousness in the hospital. The doctors tried to revive me but my little body was too worn out. I know that Dad will be crying. However, I hope that he knows that I loved him very much and enjoyed all the adventures that we had together. I know that he loved me dearly and never will forget me.

Oh my gosh...my heart goes out to you! I am so sorry. You gave Boo a wonderful long and happy life and the best care possible, something we are all striving for. He is at peace now. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with Boo.

Thank you. I am going to hospital now. Just had to collect myself before driving. I was so hopeful cause we had been following him two to three times a week since early March with vet visits and labs and just a few days ago all was normal. I know I tried my best so that is some comfort.

How fortunate you were to have Boo in your life (for 20+ years!), and how fortunate Boo had you as his human. I hope the memory of Boo becomes easier as the days and months roll on, and that all the tears and anguish are replaced with the very happy memory of a life well-lived. RIP Boo 🙏

You definitely did your best! Never doubt that! Thank you again for inspiring us all.

From ShamaPapa:

I'm not crying! You're crying!

I wonder if somehow Her Majesty knew. She has been in such a funk all morning.

Condolences from the Queen and her Mama and Papa.
Boo loved his holidays. He was born on a cold Halloween night in Texas and passed on a sunny St. Patrick’s Day morning in sunny Southern California. He followed the leprechaun over the rainbow.

Please drink a green beer in his honor tonight. If you don’t drink alcohol, maybe a kale smoothie.

Oh, Boo, we love You AND your Dad. You keep an eye on your dad. He is going to need a little dog angel on his shoulder in the weeks to come. 😢 ❤
