Hi everyone!
I'm Laura from CT and I'm a first time dog mom. My pup is Randall and he can be the sweetest thing ever. 2 seconds later, I'm looking to call a priest for an exorcism 😋Randall is currently 16 weeks old. We have been together for 5 weeks. We started puppy school last night. He was amazing (and he's really tired today, which is a bonus).

I have already learned so much from all the discussions. I appreciate all the experience and insight.

16 weeks old and "little terror" are a description of a time that most of us went through. Just keep him occupied with things it is okay to get into, start puppy classes, and enjoy the puppy days (it goes so fast). He is a cutie! Take lots of pictures while he is little (post them too!)

Hi, I feel the same way with my Millie. She is about to be 4 months old, I got her at 3 month. We will be starting Puppy classes soon, I am waiting for the rabies vaccine, the Vet recommended to wait until she is 4 months (he said she was too little). I’m a new pet mom too. Best of Luck.

He is very cute! I remember my first puppy as an adult. A Bichon Frise named Casper. That was 40 + years ago and I think he convinced me never to have children. And I never did.
He lived for almost 18 years and was my faithful(unlike my Ex-husband) companion for a long time!
Every dog I have ever owned, I thought was going to put me in my grave the first few months. All of them have turned out great.

I have had dogs ALL of my life. I almost always have a “what was I thinking moment” when they hit their adolescence! It passes then they settle in for many years of companionship.
