Have you heard anything Kathie? Tell then they can work with www.Findtoto.com which helps find lost pets, and has come highly recommended..
Excellent resource for finding a lost dog, lists all the things to do, some I had not thought of, hope this might be of help. I will pray too.

Charlie Missing in Plant City, FL

I cannot find the thread to Charlie, missing in Plant City, Fl...Kathie????
I thought it might be good to post it here so everyone would see it, since he is not really a rescue, but just missing....anyone heard anything about him? I am so worried, I have posted something on the Lowchen lists and the PWD list....mostly for prayers...one prayer coming from England for his safe recovery...
I know everyone is worried about Charlie..hoping for some good news soon!
I imagine they will have to go house by house or hand out flyers at the sub divisions..
Geri there is also Lost Pet USA | The Essential Tools to Reunite You With Your Pet. This is an in depth step by step procedure to find your lost pet and NO CHARGE. FindTOTO has a charge associated with it.
I am wondering if it would not be a good idea to have something on line here about these two avenues of locating lost pets? Maybe a special thread/forum for pet recovery?
Is there any news on facebook Becky? Keep us posted if you read anything..please.
I am not sure if HRI is assisting in the search? If it is just a group of people, I worry things will be missed in their efforts.
HRI has been very involved in the search. The updates that are being posted are coming from HRI. I have been reading them on the HRI list.
Good! I am just surprised the little fellow has been at large so long. He must be with someone by this time...at least I hope so.. Still praying for a good outcome.
I think prayers do come true...have been praying for Charlie, as I know so many have...just let us hear he is okay..:whoo::clap2::bounce::cheer2::thumb:;)
Yes, I did notice he has been missing for at least a week and it said he needs medication, I sure hope he is okay...
Any ideas of what happened to Charlie..he could write a book, couldn't he, albeit a scary one! So glad he is on the mend..
If They Could See Me Now....

I know so many of you, including me, worried so about Charlie when he was missing in FLorida last January...we were all so happy when he was found and I remember Geri's comment...she hoped he had a good life from here on out...well, I got permission from HRI to post this painting of Charlie...all I could think of was the phrase above..."If they could see me now"... and I wanted everyone to see Charlie. He is living large and so deserves it!!
Charlie's owner sent a photograph to HRI a few weeks back..he was in the boat on the river and it absolutely made me cry with joy to see him...he looks so proud!!! I asked for permission to use the photograph for a painting and received it. Now again, with permission I am sharing the painting with all who worried about Charlie...and thanks for all the caring!!! HRI is great and so are you guys!! Vertebrate Easel Mammal Paint Art

Glad you like it Dave..so good to see him looking so good. I know he has a great owner and working through issues with him...can't ask for more!!!
Thank you, are you better? I love to see good endings!!!
Absolutely, adorable, Flynn! And so nice to hear that Charlie is enjoying his life so much!
Thanks Karen, we were all so worried about him..now he looks like King of the World..lol..so good to see. This painting will hopefully be on the HRI on line auction to raise money for HRI
I love your painting, Flynn! Yes, look at Charlie now! Good to hear of him doing so well.
Thanks Linda! So many of the HRI rescues end up in wonderful situations, so good to watch!
Flynn,

Thanks for giving us this update about Charlie, the adventure dog. I was so happy when he was found.

Your wonderful painting shows that he is still having adventures with his new family.
Yes, I remember we had a prayer chain going for that little guy...I too was just so happy when we got news he was found and was going to be okay. It is always nice when the outcome is good! Thanks for the compliment on my painting, I loved the photo when I saw it..he is one more exciting little dog!!!
Flynn,
That is so beautiful! You are a very talented gal!
Thank you so much, I hope it will make some money for HRI when it goes on the on line auction. But mostly wanted everyone to see him, looking so proud!! It made my heart sing!:)
